Toyota and The Salvation Army Team Up to Provide Backpacks and School Supplies to Local
Students in Need.
The Salvation Army, in partnership with Toyota, is helping ensure students in our community are prepared for a successful school year by providing backpacks filled with essential school supplies to families in need.
As part of a nationwide initiative, Toyota is providing a one-time grant of $651,000, and
collecting donations at select manufacturing plants and dealers. The Salvation Army is distributing
16,900 backpacks to students across the U.S —including 870 right here in Washtenaw County.

ON AUGUST 2ND BETWEEN 10:00 AM AND 12;00 PM. THIS DISTRIBUTION IS FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN
