Braver Angels is the largest cross-partisan, grassroots organization in the country dedicated to decreasing toxic political polarization through workshops, debates and civic engagement. By political polarization, we do not mean the sharp differences in deeply held beliefs and policy preferences that are normal in a democracy. We are referring to the contempt and fear we may feel toward our fellow Americans who vote differently from us.
