Brain Plasticity Ukulele Collective Returns to The Ark for a Night of Music Benefiting the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor

 Get ready for an unforgettable night of music with a cause. On Thursday, October 1st, at 7:30pm, the Brain Plasticity Ukulele Collective (BPUC) returns to The Ark for another rousing performance for a cause.

A percentage of every ticket sold will benefit the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor, helping the organization continue offering free support groups, educational workshops, and wellness programs to cancer patients and their families.

BPUC is an intergenerational, Ann Arbor-based rock band that blends ukuleles with a wide range of instruments, including guitar, flute, percussion, harmonica, accordion, mandolin, mandola, bass, piano, and melodica, to promote musical growth and neurogenesis. Now in its second decade, the collective was formed in part to “keep the neurons firing” by making music in real time with real people. The band performs a mix of original songs and covers.
