The Washtenaw County Chapter of Braver Angels, a bipartisan discussion group, will be meeting at Aubree’s Pizzaria, 2122 Whittaker Rd., Ypsilanti, August 17, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The topic is “Teen Privacy vs. Parental Rights”.
The Braver Angels Alliance of Washtenaw County (BA-WA) is a local chapter of Braver Angels, a national nonpartisan group that brings liberals, conservatives, and independents together to reduce political hostility and practice respectful dialogue. The local chapter is led by red (conservative) and blue (liberal) co-leads, including Ed Karls and Emily Twanmo.
