The 6th annual Native Plant Expo & Marketplace is a FREE one stop shop for native plants and conservation education. It is hosted by the Washtenaw County Conservation District on Saturday June 7th from 9:00 AMto 1:00 PM at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd, with partners:
Adapt Community Supported Ecology, Adapt Landscapes, Huron River Watershed Council, Master Rain Gardener Program, Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum,
Natural Community Services, River Raisin Watershed Council,
Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office, and
Wright’s Renovations.
The Expo features native plant sales from Michigan based nurseries; a speakers’ series covering topics like native landscaping and habitat restoration; and a variety of vendors offering services in design,
installation, and maintenance of native plant landscapes, pollinator
resources, locally made products, and much more!
Entry is free for all and includes two free potted milkweed plants-
perfect for supporting Monarch butterfly habitat, while supplies last.
Hundreds of native plant varieties will be available for purchase including
perennials, grasses, shrubs, trees, fruits, and seeds for landscapes of all sizes
