Ready to collect rainwater and conserve resources? Our Rain Barrel Sales are now open!  It’s a simple step toward eco-friendly living! The first pick-up date for 2026 will be on Monday, March 23rd.

Rain barrels are limited supply, we will run out of some colors, shop early to get your full spring season of rainwater!

Mushrooms 101

Did you miss our first Mushroom 101 workshop? We are offering the class again in partnership with Great Lakes Mushroom Company.

This class will cover the basics of indoor mushroom cultivation, a talk about the benefits and properties of mushrooms, and interactive workshop. Tickets are required for this event, and space is limited.

Applications Open – School & Community Habitat Grant

We are accepting applications from schools and community groups looking to start a new project, or expand an existing project. The grant includes provision for native plant materials and/or technical assistance in design or planting of gardens.

If you have less than 30 pots or trays, you can drop them off anytime between 9am and noon at our event at the Washtenaw Food Hub. If you have more than 30 pots or trays, you’ll need to select a timeslot in the registration.

We are also collecting: bale cover, silage tarp, and pallet stretch wrap.
