Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival invites you to celebrate sustainability and community at Leslie Science & Nature Center. The annual Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival is back! You are invited to join in a free celebration featuring hands-on activities, live entertainment, green building and commuting technologies, energy and water awareness, sustainable agriculture, and much more. Coordinated by the Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival Planning Committee, this year’s event will deliver a vibrant day of family-friendly activities.
Visitors are welcomed enjoy a wide array of festivities, including the All-Species Parade, which will begin approximately 2:00 p.m. Come dressed as your favorite animal or wear festive outfits as they cheer for a healthier planet. Musical performances from Joe Reilly & the Community Gardeners and Title Track will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon. Informative presentations from the Water Protectors will equip attendees with knowledge of environmental stewardship, alongside exhibitor booths from organizations such as VegMichigan and Washtenaw Climate Reality. In keeping with the spirit of Earth Day, the Festival is proud to be a Zero Waste event. Attendees can contribute to this effort by bringing reusable water bottles and ensuring waste is disposed of in the proper receptacles.
The Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival is made possible through generous contributions from local sponsors and donors, including MI Humanities, the Michigan Arts & Culture Council, and the City of Ann Arbor.
