Yankee Air Museum to Reopen on June 30th
Yankee Air Museum is reopening on Tuesday, June 30th at 10:00AM after 109 days of being closed for the health safety of visitors and team members during the coronavirus pandemic. With a theme of “Right — Not Rushed” the Yankee Air Museum Reopening Task Force crafted plans and procedures consistent with best practices from around the country to promote a healthy and safe environment to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Visit the Creativity Hangar activity page on our website that offers story times, oral histories and a wide variety of at-home lessons for educational programming. We continued work on Yankee Air Museum’s Roush Aeronautics Center construction planning with the initiation of civil engineering and we acquired a flyable 1928 Ford 4-AT-B Tri-Motor that will enter service in our Air Adventures program next year.
Visit the Yankee Air Museum’s website at www.yankeeiarmuseum.org now and plan on visiting in-person, beginning June 30, 2020. Air Adventures on the B-17 Yankee Lady begin on July 1. The Museum is located at 47884 D Street, Belleville, Michigan 48111.
