Yankee Air Museum Presents Wings and Wheels, June 13 2021
Yankee Air Museum is filling the ramp in front of its Hangar 1 base with a huge display of rare cars and aircraft on Sunday, June 13. Back from the pandemic pause, the public is encouraged to attend Detroit’s Invitational Wings and Wheels at Historic Willow Run. More than 100 cars and light trucks, built between 1930 and 1969, will be grouped with aircraft representative of their era. This exclusive show unfolds beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021 on the west side of Willow Run Airport, Hangar 1, 801 Kirk Profit Drive, Ypsilanti Michigan.

About Wings and Wheels: This fantastic automobile and airplane show is returning on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 10:00AM until 4:00PM. The event is at Willow Run Airport, West Side, Hangar 1. Yankee Air Museum operates its historic aircraft from this hangar. Get up close to an amazing array of rare classic cars, selected by invitation only, and historic aircraft all on display together. There are outstanding opportunities to chat up the owners and capture great photos.
The public is welcome and tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 on the day of the event. Kids 15 and under are free. Plenty of free parking is available and food trucks will be on site. Net event proceeds benefit the Yankee Air Museum. This is the destination of the year for automotive and aviation cognoscenti. Air Adventure rides will be available on Yankee Air Museum’s vintage B-17 Flying Fortress UH-1 Huey helicopter.
