Waterloo Area Historical Society
Antique Tractor, Truck and Farm Equipment Show
August 12 & 13
Make sure you don’t miss the Waterloo Farm Museum’s annual Antique Tractor, Truck and Farm Equipment Show on Saturday and Sunday, August 12th and 13th from 10am until 5pm. From late 19th century steam to Grandpa’s 1960’s John Deere, come see the tractors, trucks and farm equipment that transformed American farming from the horse drawn era to the technical miracle that is today’s agriculture. Some are still in their original clothes, while others have been beautifully restored.
Meet the people that feed you and enjoy the history of the American farm family as you walk through our historical farm buildings. The huge old post and beam barn, a working blacksmith shop, the icehouse, a 170-year-old windmill, log house, Victorian home, and more. The kids will get a kick out of the huge tractors and old trucks, and mom will love our gift shop and the antique quilt show. That’s right, the museum will be displaying over 40 of its beautiful quilts that date from the mid 19th century to the 1930’s. And everyone will enjoy lunch at our commissary. But the best part…, it’s free. That’s right, there is no admission charge. You’ll have the best day ever!
Whether you’re interested in farm history or just want a great family outing, make some memories with us! We are located at 13493 Waterloo-Munith Rd, a brief, scenic drive from the I-94 Clear Lake Road exit. And did we mention? No admission charge, it’s free! That’s Saturday and Sunday, August 12th and 13th. We’ll look for you.
