Soil Drive Week 2021:
Free Soil Testing
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 15th-19th
WCCD Office, 705 N. Zeeb Road, Suite 201, Ann Arbor, MI 48103
The Washtenaw County Conservation District is excited to launch our first ever Soil Drive! WCCD will be covering the cost of shipping and analysis for soil samples submitted from properties in Washtenaw County. The goal of this initiative is to make soil testing FREE and easy, so all Washtenaw County residents – farmers, city dwellers, anyone! – can obtain and utilize the results of their soil tests to make informed decisions about plant placement and fertilizer needs. Interested Washtenaw County residents should drop off their sample(s) and filled out sample information form(s) at the WCCD office during business hours between November 15-19. Please note, free soil testing is limited to one sample per field (please no grid sampling) and only the standard test.
