Upcoming Events at Plymouth Ann Arbor Elks Lodge 325
West Side Ramblers who provide free entertainment playing Acoustic Oldies on the first Thursday of the month from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Burger Night at the Plymouth Ann Arbor Elks Lodge 325. Limited menu available from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The group is made up of 5 veteran musicians – Morgan Humecky on vocals, lead guitar and banjo; Sherry Humecky on the hammered dulcimer; Brian Newsom on chord melody/rhythm banjo; Kim Dominick on electric bass; Bob Ervin, rhythm guitar and vocals.
Blues @ The Elks happens on the second Tuesday of the month from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Plymouth Ann Arbor Elks Lodge #325 in partnership with the Detroit Blues Society (www.detroitbluessociety.org). There is a $5 donation at the door and bring your dancing shoes.
Tuesday, September 10th, Nicky T & The Snake Charmers!!! This new group in town has former members of The Alligators band and promises to be a great blues performance. This experienced and talented group includes: Nick Tabarias aka Nicky T-guitar and vocals; David Krammer-vocals; Pete Berg-drums; Frankie Lee-bass; and Andy Szymanski-keys.
Tuesday, October 8th, Chris Canas Band !! This nationally touring band is back at the Elks!
Chris Canas on guitar and vocals, Angela Cottingham on vocals and percussion, Chris Nordham on keys and vocals, Derek Washington on bass and vocals and Marc Anthony Guillory on drums.
Jazz @ The Elks happens on the last Tuesday of the month from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. There is a $10 donation at the door which includes hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy jazz in a listening room setting close to the entertainers.
Tuesday, September 24th, Shuga & Friends for the first time at the Elks. Shuga has often been invited to sit in with other jazz groups at the Elks and now she has her own show. The group will present a nice mix of jazz and blues. We have Shuga on vocals, Karen Tomalis on drums, Russell Blair on bass, Don Santilli on sax, Nicolas Cocco on guitar, and Roberto Warren on percussion.
Tuesday, October 29th, Beth Stalker with the Dale Grisa Quartet, all veteran perforrmers will be at the Elks for the first time. Beth Stalker is a high energy vocalist who has been singing since she was 4 years old and was an American Idol contestant in 2008. Beth sings the gamut of jazz and blues. Accompanying her are Dale Grisa on keyboard, Bobby Streng on sax, Ron Pangborn on drums, and John Barron on bass. www.bethstalkermusic.com
