Eileen Spring Honored as Woman of the Year
Food Gatherers’ CEO, Eileen Spring, has been selected by the United Way of Washtenaw County (UWWC) Women United group as the 2021 Woman of the Year. Ms. Spring will be honored at the UWWC’s Power of the Purse event on March 10, 2021 530pm to 630pm. The event will be virtual because of the COVID pandemic.

All funds raised at the event will support women’s programs in Washtenaw County. Past funded programs addressed helping women return to work or school, childcare, tuition, and financial coaching.

Power of the Purse is an opportunity to connect with diverse and dynamic women as we Ignite the Power of Women in Washtenaw County!
Join United Way of Washtenaw County, event chair Stacy Collick, and the Power of the Purse committee at the 13th Annual Power of the Purse as we celebrate and honor 2020 woman of the year Eileen Spring, a leading community philanthropist.
A complimentary ticket includes admittance to the virtual event and an opportunity to shop the silent designer purse auction and gift basket raffle. A $25 upgraded ticket includes a Live United t-shirt and a raffle ticket. All proceeds support financial stability programs for women in Washtenaw County!
