The St. Andrew’s Society of Detroit 173rd Annual Highland Games
The St. Andrew’s Society of Detroit is celebrating the 173rd anniversary of its annual Highland Games, the oldest continuous Scottish festival of its kind in North America. The Games are visited by people of all heritages throughout the U.S. and Canada.
CEILIDH (prounounced Kay-Lee) on FRIDAY, August 5 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will feature live performances from Stone Clover, CrossBow, Pictus and IronWood.
HIGHLAND GAMES on SATURDAY, August 6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All events are held at Greenmead Historical Park at 20501 Newburgh Road, Livonia, MI at the intersection of Newburgh and Eight Mile roads.
