DESCRIPTION:Toyota and The Salvation Army Team Up to Provide Backpacks and School Supplies to Local \n\n\nStudents in Need. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Salvation Army\, in partnership with Toyota\, is helping ensure students in our community are prepared for a successful school year by providing backpacks filled with essential school supplies to families in need. \n\n\n\n\nAs part of a nationwide initiative\, Toyota is providing a one-time grant of $651\,000\, and\n\n\ncollecting donations at select manufacturing plants and dealers. The Salvation Army is distributing\n\n\n16\,900 backpacks to students across the U.S —including 870 right here in Washtenaw County.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMAJOR BRIAN GOODWILL SAID 870 BACKPACKS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED.  PICK THEM UP AT 100 ARBANA DRIVE IN ANN ARBOR \n\n\n\n\nON AUGUST 2ND BETWEEN 10:00 AM AND 12;00 PM.  THIS DISTRIBUTION IS FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN \n\n\n\n\nWASHTENAW COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS .
