“The OLDS CEMETERY driveway is right across from the Salem-South Lyon Library driveway.
It has been falling apart for years and this year we are going to have the three Veterans stones repaired. If there are any surviving relatives out there that want to donate to getting their relatives stone repaired, The South Lyon Historical Society will except donations in the Olds Cemetery name . This cemetery is located in Salem Township . You don’t have to be a relative to donate and to help in any way. We need a surveyor to donate his time to locate the stakes, so we will stay within the plot lines of the cemetery. It is located on private land. We also need stone donated for the driveway. A sign would be nice.
Mr. Ledbetter said he will have his scouts and Eagle scouts help with projects. A lot of work needs to be done and we have already accomplished a lot.
