The first Commander in Chief Golf Championship will be held on September 22 at Rattle Run Golf Course located in China Township, MI – Change of Location from Selfridge
NOTE: This event was previously scheduled for a golf course located at Selfridge Air Base, but was relocated when that venue concluded it was not appropriate to host an event for the Commander in Chief of the U.S.A.
The first Commander in Chief Golf Championship will be held on September 22 at Rattle Run Golf Course located in China Township, MI (https://www.rattlerun.com/). This will be a unique opportunity to play championship, yet deplorable, golf on a course with all the trimmings of a traditional “up north” golf course.
“All Trump loving and deplorable golfers are welcome to join us,” said Rosanne Ponkowski, President of the Michigan Conservative Coalition Foundation. “This will be a golf event where President Trump will be front and center. All Trump supporters should sign up for this tremendous and enjoyable event. Join us to play some deplorable golf and to support America first!”
Rattle Run Golf Course has all the trimmings of a traditional northern golf course, with a location much closer to S.E. Michigan. Golfers will find a course lined with tall pines, challenging slopes and a variety of landscapes. Rattle Run was ranked in the top 75 courses in the U.S.A by Golf Digest.
Designed in 1977 by Lou Powers, this 18-hole course plays at over 6,900 yards from the back tees. Even the most experienced players will be challenged by the 78 bunkers and water hazards that weave through 15 of the 18 holes.
The Commander in Chief golf event will tee off with scramble start at 1 p.m. at Rattle Run on Sunday, September 22. Registration is required at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/commander-in-chief-golf-outing-tickets-68186761439
Cocktails and dinner will follow golf beginning 6 p.m. Register for dinner (no golf) by using the same EventBrite registration address. Tickets are limited for all portions of this event. Sponsorships are available by calling the Event Coordinator above. Prizes and an auction of selected items will round out the event. Trump gear will be available to purchase.
