STUDENT ART CELEBRATED AT THE NORTHVILLE ART HOUSE

The Northville Art House (Northville, MI) celebrates visual art education in Northville Public Schools through two exhibitions, the Northville High School IB Art Exhibition, and the Northville Public Schools Student Virtual Art Exhibition, on view March 22 to April 9.
The Northville High School IB Art Exhibition is a culmination of the annual International Baccalaureate visual arts program at Northville High School. In this year’s exhibition, 19 students present a selection of their best work and communicate their purpose in a written rationale. Over 150 works are on view at the Northville Art House, 215 W Cady Street.
First held in 1999, this year’s Northville Public Schools Virtual Art Exhibition will present online the artwork of 31 students in Grades 8 – 12 from Meads Mill Middle School and Northville High School. Each student is recognized for their work with positive critiques as well as awards. The public is invited to view and comment on the artwork and exhibition online at www.northvillearthouse.org/exhibitions/virtual/.
The Northville Art House, located at 215 W. Cady in Northville, offers free admission during gallery hours, Tuesday – Thursday 10 am – 5 pm and Friday – Saturday 11 am – 3 pm.
