Let the Fall season begin! “Bow to your partner, bow to your corner….” The Annual SAHS Barn Dance will be held on Friday, September 6th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Three Cedars Farm on Six Mile Road just west of Curtis Road. Members and non-members are welcome. Admission at the door will be $5.00 per person or $3.00 for SAHS Members. The Square Dance Caller will assist dancers with all levels of experience. This event is enjoyed by all ages from 6 to 96. Proceeds to SAHS will be used for the upkeep of the South Salem Stone School and the Dickerson Barn.
On Sunday, September 8th, the Salem Area Historical Society will be holding an open house from 1 pm to 3 pm at the South Salem Stone School located at 7991 North Territorial Road (corner of North Territorial and Curtis Roads in Salem Township, Washtenaw County, MI.). All are welcome to attend.
