Salem Area Historical Society PRESENTS A Potluck Dinner & History Through Videos
Salem Area Historical Society PRESENTS A Potluck Dinner & History Through Videos ON WEDNESDAY, January 25th — 6:00 PM AT Salem Township Hall (9600 Six Mile Road).
Bring a dish to share with others for the Potluck dinner along with your plate, silverware and something to drink.
After the Potluck dinner and a short SAHS membership Meeting, Dale R. Leslie will be the speaker. Dale, a native of Dixboro, has invested 20+ years in an avocation of producing digital film programs on YouTube that feature people, places and tidbits and trivia of his native hamlet and Washtenaw County. Dale and his associate, Jim Campbell, co-produced and posted these episodes on www.YouTube.com/WatchmanOfTheTracks. Many of their programs have revealed historical information that here-to-for was not known or had remained mysteries. Dale will describe and demonstrate the inexpensive method of recording events and preserving them on digital film for future generations.
