Paws for Prevention – PUPPY YOGA EVENT – The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide. Paws for Prevention initiative is strongly supported by research, and it has shown that pets can aid in the treatment of mental and emotional disorders.
Try PUPPY YOGA ON 5/18/2019 from 11 am – 1 pm at Dawn Farm 6633 stony creek rd., Ypsilanti, mi 48197 !!!Come experience the joy of puppies with puppy yoga, calm and peaceful interaction with the most adorable puppies. While taking a mild yoga class, open to all ages and abilities, the litter of puppies will be roaming around you or settling in for a snuggle. Yoga session will be led by a qualified instructor. Healthy, happy, adorable, loved puppies will be provided by Pet City Pets!
Paws for Prevention initiative is strongly supported by research, and it has shown that pets can aid in the treatment of mental and emotional disorders. Live music will be provided by the urban violinist Kym Brady. Event sponsors include Better Made Chips, Pop Daddy Popcorn, and Detroit Meal Prep Princess. Vendors that will be present are Touch Body Work, Lam and Beyond, Author Niecy Jones, Heart Candy Books. Mobile Massage Therapy will be present and providing on site chair massages with aromatherapy.
