Northville’s Arts and Acts Festival, June 21– 23, 2019
Art, Theatre, Literature, Food, and Music – all in one weekend, all in historic downtown Northville!
The 2019 Arts and Acts Festival will be the largest in its 10-year history when it returns to historic downtown Northville on June 21, 22, and 23. This year’s festival will feature more than 130 local and national artists and vendors over the weekend of arts, crafts, theatre, literature, music, food and more. With many restaurants, shops, and landmarks along the festival path, visitors will also find an abundance of neighborhood venues to check out in between viewing the vast display of arts.
“We have had an incredible response by artists and the community to the festivals return to downtown Northville. This year will be bigger and more diverse than past years, with more than 45 returning exhibitors artists and 85 new artists and vendors. We hope to attract upwards of 25,000 visitors over the weekend,” enthusiastically expounds Alexandra Teicher, the festival’s coordinator.
After a one-year collaboration with Northville Township, the 2019 Arts and Acts Festival will be located on Main and Center streets in downtown Northville where it began a decade ago. The festival will be held on the following dates and times:
· Friday, June 21, 3pm – 8pm
· Saturday June 22, 10am – 8 pm
· Sunday, June 23, 10am – 4 pm.

Arts and Acts brings together the community to celebrate the imagination, talent, art and cultural diversity of artists throughout the country. The festival is a completely free event to attend with food, drink, shopping, contests, and entertainment for visitors to experience. The festival is presented by the Northville Art House with the proceeds designated for public art exhibition and art education programs and services in Northville and the surrounding communities. The Northville Art House is a non-profit organization that operates as a governmental department of the City of Northville, MI. The Art House has been a gathering place since 2005 with the mission to bring the best of the arts to the community through exhibits and education. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday 12:00 – 5:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 – 4:00 pm, First Fridays 6:00-9:00 pm, and special events as advertised. The Northville Art Houseis located at 215 W.
