NORTHVILLE ART HOUSE’S ARTS AND ACTS FESTIVAL ELEVATES THE DOWNTOWN EXPERIENCE
The Northville Art House, a 501(c)3 comprehensive art facility, elevates the community’s visual art, music, and literary experience through the organization’s largest fundraiser, the Arts and Acts Festival, held June 17 – 19 in Downtown Northville. At the heart of the festival is the Art in the Sun Juried Art Fair, an impressive outdoor gallery of over 75 local and national artists who have been selected from a talented pool of more than 150 applicants to display their work.
Arts and Acts, staged along Main, Center, and Wing Streets, adjacent to Downtown Northville’s Social District, is a perfect environment for art lovers to buy, learn, and socialize with a like-minded crowd. Families will discover an abundance of entertainment such as the interactive chalk wall, the Chalk Festival, and musical acts as well as great food and drink at mobile trucks, food pods, and local restaurants. Aspiring poets and short story writers can also enjoy readings and music at the Short on Words event that will take place at the Northville Art House on nearby Cady Street.
Arts and Acts is truly an art festival for all! Admission is free. For more information and updates, visit www.northvillearthouse.org/artsandacts/ and @ArtsAndActsFestival. Proceeds benefit the Northville Art House’s mission to cultivate the arts through creative experiences and educational programs in the community. Be a pART of it!
