About the Exhibition:

Northville Art House is pleased to announce the WEST OF CENTER: Juried All-Media Exhibition to be held from September 7 – 29, 2018. In its tenth year, the exhibition presents thirty-eight (38) compelling works of art created by twenty-eight (28) artists nationwide selected by our highly-regarded juror, artist, photographer, and curator Jeff Cancelosi.

The works on view are created with a variety of techniques and media including painting, drawing, ceramic, fiber, mixed media, digital art, video, mosaic, photograph, printmaking & bookwork that reveal a fresh approach to traditional art forms through the use of unique concepts, bold and expressive statements, striking imagery and more. Viewers will experience, as examples, an interactive three-dimensional work titled An Ideal Arrangement by E. J. Cobb, a stimulating mixed-media piece titled Sugar Love by Sarah George, and an arresting large-scale figurative painting titled Pennies for Thoughts by Jean-Paul Aboudib.

Join us at the Art House for the opening reception on Friday, September 7 from 6 – 9 p.m., sponsored by Mark Corbin of Raymond James, with an awards presentation and juror’s talk at 7 p.m. to celebrate the following participating artists:
