LSNC, AAHOM, YANKEE AIR MUSEUM: Unity in Learning (UIL) is thrilled to continue to offer its dynamic 12-week summer camp program
AN INCREDIBLE SUMMER FILLED WITH NATURE, SCIENCE AND EXPLORATION AT A NEW LOCATION
Unity in Learning (UIL), a ground-breaking partnership between Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, Leslie Science & Nature Center, and Yankee Air Museum, is thrilled to continue to offer its dynamic 12-week summer camp program designed to create moments of discovery that inspire curiosity, exploration, and respect for STEM and the natural world. Summer camp will look and feel just as familiar and memorable, but in an exciting new location!
All 2020 UIL summer camp programs will be hosted at the beautiful Rudolf Steiner High School. The school is located next to Black Pond Woods Nature Area with a trailhead that leads directly to Black Pond, a vernal pool that has been a centerpiece of education programs at camp for many years. For those families who previously loved camps at the Leslie Science & Nature Center, campers will take hikes on the same familiar trails as we explore the natural spaces kids and families know and love. For those families who loved camp at Yankee Air Museum and Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, each week will offer exciting STEM focused camps, including our STEM2035 Middle School program.
Many summer camp favorite activities will return this year, along with new camp themes such as Digging for Dinos, Wading in Wetlands, Coding for Robotics, and Super-Secret Spy. We know it takes a lot to plan your busy summers, so browse our camp catalog and get ready for registration. All of your UIL summer camp questions can be answered by visiting https://www.lesliesnc.org/camps/summer-camps or by emailing camp@aahom-lesliesnc.org.
Campers will continue to have choices in the afternoon between quiet and active choices; with arts, science experiments and nature based activities, there is something for every camper every day.
UIL camps open to the public on Monday, February 3rd. Camps sell out quickly, so don’t delay! For more detailed information visit: https://www.unityinlearning.org/camps
