Hackett Auto Museum to host “A Conversation with Steve Purdy”
Purdy’s lecture is second event in museum’s four-part speaker series
The Hackett Auto Museum is pleased to announce the second event of its 2018-2019 speaker series – “A Conversation with Steve Purdy.” The museum will host two additional civic engagement events for the Jackson community later this winter to educate attendees about the city’s rich automotive heritage.

WHO:
Steve Purdy is a Mid Michigan-based multimedia automotive journalist who has been photographing automotive hood ornaments, also known as “mascots,” for more than 40 years. Purdy’s upcoming book “Mascots of Motion,” will display thousands of his images and tell the stories of these wonderful examples of fine automotive art.
COST:
This event is free; however, a $5 donation is suggested. All proceeds benefit the Hackett Auto Museum.
