February events at the Elks
Blues @ The Elks happens on the second Tuesday of the month from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Plymouth Ann Arbor Elks Lodge #325 in partnership with the Detroit Blues Society (www.detroitbluessociety.org). There is a $5 donation at the door and bring your dancing shoes.
Tuesday, February 13th, Mardi Gras!!! Big Ray & the Motor City Kings!! Definitely one of the hottest groups around doing everything from Motown, to Blues, to Rockabilly! This will be a fantastic show. Big Ray Haywood on Sax and Vocals, Davey Fender on Guitar, Mike Rupprecht on Keyboard and Vocals, Joel Warren on Drums, and Brian Gatten on Bass and Vocals. Jazz @ The Elks happens on the last Tuesday of the month from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. There is a $10 donation at the door which includes hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy jazz in a listening room setting close to the entertainers.
Tuesday, February 27th The Ramona Collins Quartet returns doing their “It’s All About Love” show! This is a cream of the crop group with Ramona doing Vocals the way jazz should be sung, Cliff Monear will be on Keyboard, Jeff Pedraz on Bass and Sean Dobbins on Drums.
