Organization Info
Family Life Services of Washtenaw County has served women and saved lives for 34 years. We assist women in crisis pregnancy situations through medical support (including free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds), peer counseling, and embodying God’s unconditional love. We serve disadvantaged mothers who have chosen life with free material goods (including diapers, maternity and baby clothing, formula and baby food, cribs, strollers) and our parent education programs. We also provide an encouraging, faith-filled safe space where clients meet with other moms, and we connect clients in need with community resources. Through the generosity of our donors and volunteers, all our programs and services are free. We are a life-affirming, volunteer and donation-based Christian ministry that receives no state or federal funding. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible.
Our goal at Family Life Services of Washtenaw County is to give low income women in our community the tools that they need to become the best mothers possible. We offer free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and counseling to women. Once women become clients we help connect them to community resources, provide them with material support (such as diapers, clothing, baby food, cribs, strollers, etc.) and free parenting classes. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All of our services would not be possible without the generous donations and support of the people in our community.
