Detroit Women Artists Exhibit Together for the First Time
Since the Pandemic at the Northville Art House, October 1 – 29
The Northville Art House will present the exhibition Opening Up: Detroit Society of Women Painters & Sculptors from October 1 – 29. This inspirational exhibition features the artwork of 30 members of the Detroit Society of Women Painters & Sculptors (DSWPS) opening up and exhibiting together for the first time after the challenges of the past few years. The 50 works were juried into the exhibition by Metro Detroit artist and instructor Clinton Snider and include paintings and sculpture as well as ceramics, printmaking, and collage created in a variety of media.
The artists will be recognized at the opening reception held at the Northville Art House, 215 W. Cady, on Friday, October 7, 5 – 8 pm. Free admission with light fare and cash bar.
