Corona Virus Response from Habitat Huron Valley
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response
Dear Habitat Family:
I hope everyone is holding up well through this difficult time. Habitat is committed to supporting our community in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. We will make our decisions with the best information available and will do our best to be responsible and timely in communicating. Experts suggest all of us – no matter our age or health – practice “social distancing” to play our part in slowing the virus.
All volunteer activities – including construction groups- are suspended through April 5th.
Habitat will be holding all trainings, staff and volunteer meetings in a virtual format.
Habitat staff teams are reaching out directly to their program participants to arrange for virtual information sharing and many staff are working remotely.
Our Habitat ReStore sales floor will be closed to the public, but we will be moving more of our products to online availability through Facebook for outside pick up. Habitat will continue donation pick-ups from exterior locations only.
Our Habitat offices will be closed to the public, and individual staff will be communicating with participants to continue to provide services electronically, where possible. Mortgage and repair program payments may be mailed to the Habitat office at 2805 S. Industrial Hwy., Ste.100, Ann Arbor, 48104.
Refer to our website to stay updated on build schedules and Habitat news.
This situation is changing quickly and we will communicate as often as is necessary. Information for the latest resources available in our community can be accessed here.
Thank you for your continued support of Habitat!
