Christmas on the Farm” at the Waterloo Farm and Dewey School Museum

Christmas on the Farm” at the Waterloo Farm and Dewey School Museum will take place on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th, from 10 am to 4 pm. Experience the warmth of a 19th century family Christmas. Tour the beautifully decorated Victorian farm house, watch a pioneer family prepare Christmas dinner in their log home, and walk amongst the decorated farm buildings. Enjoy hot chocolate, molasses cookies, and music around the yule log. Shop for our handcrafted live holiday wreaths and greens in the ice house, visit the gift shop full of seasonal items, and enjoy crafts and foods form local vendors. Lunch is served throughout the day so don’t miss our famous Waterloo bean soup.
And don’t forget the kids, they will be amazed to see our one room school house, sit at a desk, and listen to the school teacher describe the holiday decorations that hang from the Christmas tree. Santa never misses Christmas on the farm, he’ll be there all day so keep an eye out for him!

Located at 13493 Waterloo-Munith Rd, the museum is a brief, scenic drive north from the I-94 Clear Lake Rd. exit. Admission is $5 per adult, $4 for seniors, and $2 for children under 12 with those under 5 free.
