Ethnically Russian and born in Ukraine, Varya will share her unique perspective regarding life in Zaporizhzhia. She will share her amazing story, leading up to becoming one of a small number of students selected for the FLEX scholarship program.
Varya’s talk will also compare and contrast US and Ukraine in terms of the following aspects:
Typical occupations of women
How pay ranges differ relative to various occupations
How the education system differs
Other cultural differences
