SUMMARY:5th Annual Tractor Tire Drive at Washtenaw Farm  Council Grounds
DESCRIPTION:Tractor Tire Drive December 6th at Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nThe Washtenaw County Conservation District and Washtenaw County Water \n\n\nResources Materials Management Division are happy to announce they are holding their \n\n\n5th Annual Tractor Tire Drive on December 6th from 9am-12pm at Washtenaw Farm \n\n\nCouncil Grounds (5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd\, Ann Arbor\, MI 48103).  Since its inception\, the \n\n\ndrive has collected 100 tons of tires from the agricultural community\, preventing them \n\n\nfrom leaching chemicals into groundwater\, and reducing the breeding grounds for \n\n\nmosquitoes. \n\n\n\n\nRegistration for the event is required as space is limited and there is a drop off \n\n\nmaximum of up to 6 tractor tires or 12 semi tires per operation.  Tires left outside of drop \n\n\noff hours may result in the cancellation of future tire drive events. \n\n\n\n\nIf you are interested in dropping off your large agricultural tires\, you can register \n\n\nonline at washtenawcd.org/events or call (734-302-8715) to register by phone.
