Waterloo Area Historical Society – blacksmiths, old soldiers, and log cabin weekend

Waterloo Area Historical Society
June 25 / 26 Event
It’s blacksmiths, old soldiers, and log cabin weekend at the Waterloo Farm Museum Saturday and
Sunday, June 25th and 26th
from 10 am until 5 pm. Tour an original pioneer log house and other 19th century buildings, see blacksmiths hammering red hot iron as they create amazing items, and watch encamped civil war soldiers march and perform shooting demonstrations. Take a look into mid- 19th
century American history and sense what it was like to walk in your ancestor’s boots. There will be
vendors with local crafts and farm products, blacksmith made hardware, beer making, music, a
fantastic gift shop for mom, and a concession area to round out your day with lunch.
Whether you’re interested in history or just want a great family outing, make some memories with us!
Admission is $5 per adult, $4 for seniors, and $2 for children under 12 with those under 5 free. Located
at 13493 Waterloo-Munith Rd, the museum is a brief, scenic drive from the I-94 Chelsea or Clear Lake Road exits.

The event is finished.
